What is Jog-a-thon? Jog-a-thon is a PTO fundraiser in which students receive pledges for running laps on the lower field. Money raised goes toward FIELD TRIPS, Accelerated Reading Reward parties, school dances, movie night, etc…

Pledge sheets: Students ask family, neighbors & friends to pledge money per lap ($.25, $1.00 or other), or make flat donations ($10, $20 or other). The pledges are recorded on their pledge sheets.

What Students do: Bring home the attached pledge sheets, get pledges filled out on pledge sheet (see above), and return to teachers by Tuesday September 17th. (Students can collect flat donation $ prior to Jog-A-Thon or send in all $ earned after Jog-A-Thon by September 27th).

September 20th: ALL Students RUN!!!
8:15 - 1st & 2nd
8:50 - 3rd & 4th
9:25 - 5th & 6th
10-10:30 - Tk&Kinder (shorter track)

Student Rewards:
• Certificates for All Students Who Run
• Homework Passes for all Students Who Get Pledges and Run
• Pizza Party for Top Boy and Girl Runners & for Top Pledge $ Collector per Class
• Bingo Party with Prizes for Students Collecting Pledges of $50 or More!!!

We need MANY Parent Volunteers for the following:
• Setup
• Lap Counters
• Popsicle distributors
• Pledge $/Lap Calculators
• Water Station
• Clean-Up
• Cheerleaders!

Donations needed: Prizes, Drinks, and Treats for Bingo Party

Set-up 7:25 – 8:15
1st & 2nd grades Run 8:15-8:45
3rd & 4th grades run 8:50-9:20
5th & 6th grades run 9:25-9:55
Tk and Kinder run 10:00-10:30
Clean up: 10:30-11:15

Visitors and Volunteers will have to sign in at the office, then go down to the lower playground. Volunteers cannot bring younger siblings because they are working. Visitors can bring siblings since they are just watching and can monitor their own children.
